This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
Contract between the customer and School Uniform Direct / Direct School Uniform LLP for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched ( at which point the buyers credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods dispatched). This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
Introduction and Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
The general Terms and Conditions of Sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the 'User' (hereafter also referred to as ‘You’ or the 'Customer') and 'School Uniform Direct' (hereafter also referred to as 'We' or the 'Website'), belonging to the company Direct School Uniform LLP, company number OC382779, VAT no 266167190. Both parties accept these Conditions unreservedly. These General Conditions of Sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express. written, prior dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you have read and do unreservedly accept our general Conditions of Sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to you and School Uniform Direct as they are used to protect your rights as a valued customer and our rights as a business.

We reserve the right to update the Website and these Terms of Service from time to time, at our discretion and without any notice. It is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms and Conditions by checking back regularly. We work hard to ensure the Website is always up and available, but we can't guarantee that the Website will not have downtime for any reason. We reserve the right to close the Website for short periods of time for regular updating of products and for general maintenance but will attempt to keep this to a minimum. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time, for any length of time.
Parts of the Website require you to input a password to access certain features. This is to be able to give you details relevant to your order whilst still keeping them private to you. To do this, as part of our security procedures, we require you to register an account with School Uniform Direct by entering your email and choosing a secure password. We highly recommend that you choose a strong password that is hard for others to guess, and you log out from your account at the end of every session. There is a password reset procedure in case you forget your password. You must treat your account log-in information as confidential, not disclosing it to any third party and only using School Uniform Direct in person. If you think there may have been any breach of security then it is your responsibility to notify us immediately and if log-in is possible, to change your password.
It is a condition of your use of the Website that all the information you provide on the Website is correct, current and complete. We reserve the right to disable any user account in our sole discretion, at any time for any or no reason, including if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any provision of these Terms of Service.
SSL encrypted browsing is available for all logged-in users, but while we strive for this, we cannot guarantee that all use will be secure. While we work hard towards this, we also do not guarantee that the Website or any content provided on the Website is error free. We manage your personal data according to our Privacy Policy.
Product information
School Uniform Direct takes great care when putting product information, descriptions and images on-line but will not be held responsible for any mistakes or omissions to any information given. The technical information details of a product may be subject to change by our manufacturers and we will attempt to update it as soon as we are aware of such changes.
Prices
The prices indicated on School Uniform Direct are shown in Pound Sterling and include all taxes but do not include delivery. The delivery costs are clearly shown and invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the products. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but this will be indicated to you on the order at the time the order is placed. If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website and is not corrected on your total at the time of order completion, for whatever reason (human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled and the payment refunded to you, even if it has been initially validated.
Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown for the items are correct when the item is added onto the website. The price offered in respect of an item on the School Uniform Direct Site may differ from the price offered at the same time in stores. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that it differs from those on the School Uniform Direct site.
The price of an item does not include the delivery charge, which will depend on the delivery method you choose and your country of residence. The rate applicable for the delivery charge will be calculated at the date you place your order. Availability
We will always endeavour to fulfil your order once completed and paid for. If a product should become unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid for, we will refund the price you paid for the product within 30 days following the date of payment. If your order includes products that are temporarily unavailable, we will send the available products out first and will follow with the outstanding items once they are available again.
We will refund the shipping fees for the rest of the order. If relevant, we will offer you a replacement for an unavailable product, a product of equal price and quality. If you accept the replacement, and then wish to return it to us in the conditions outlined under Right of Return, the return postage will be covered by us. If you choose to decline this offer, and the original product is permanently unavailable, we will reimburse the price of the unavailable product.
Secure payment
School Uniform Direct currently offers two ways to pay for your order, PayPal and paypoint.
Both these payment options use advanced SSL encryption to keep your transaction secure and do not cost you anything to use (School Uniform Direct is charged as the seller, you are not charged as the buyer) so you will not pay any extra for your order. You do not need to hold an account with these Merchants to use these methods of payments. Please refer to PayPal and paypoint for full terms and conditions of use.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. This means that the price confirmed after placing the order may be different to that charged at delivery. Every effort is made to ensure that this will not happen - please refer to our returns policy. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please see delivery times and charges.
Your Right To Cancel
You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of dispatch. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days.
Payment and Taxes
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit or debit card. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch & Amex. All transactions are shown in £ sterling.
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Community (EC) then your sales tax will be zero. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 20%.
Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.
Delivery Information
We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case this we may send out the rest of your order and place the items on back order and/or refund them. Though we will aim to notify customers, we unfortunately cannot guarantee this before dispatch of your order.

All orders received after 1pm will, subject to availability, be dispatched on the following day.
UK Delivery
Delivery to School Option:
Stock permitting, all orders placed by mail-order or on the web are usually dispatched to arrive with the school directly within 28 days (however, on average, 14 days). If you require the items urgently, we recommend opting for a direct delivery to your home or work place.
Please note, if you select this option and the school will not accept a delivery (as a school must opt-in for this option to be available), we will contact you for the option to change your delivery to home/work (this may be subject to a delivery charge).
School Uniform Direct cannot be held liable for any delay in receiving your order due to situation beyond our control. Including and not limited to: the school not accepting the delivery, being closed at time of delivery and any further reason beyond School Uniform Direct’s control.
Customers will be notified when the items will be dispatched by School Uniform Direct to the school. However, it will be the onus on the school to make the order available to you at their own discretion and time.
Once the order has left School Uniform Direct dispatch, all delivery liabilities and timescales are that of the School and has not direct bearing on School Uniform Direct.
Collect from Store Option:
Stock permitting, all orders placed by mail-order or on the web are usually dispatched to arrive with the store within 5-7 Working Days. However School Uniform Direct cannot be held liable for any delay in receiving your order due to situation beyond our control.
Customers will be notified when the items will be dispatched by School Uniform Direct to the specified store via e-mail. The customer should not assume that the items will be available at the store for collection, without first receiving a ‘dispatch e-mail’, the dispatch email will also indicate what products are available for the click and collect at the store and which items are unavailable.
School Uniform Direct will not be held responsible for any expenses in arriving at the store and not being able to collect the order without having received a confirmation dispatch and collection email. For the avoidance of doubt, this is NOT A CONFIRMATION OF ORDER e-mail – but instead a specific dispatch and collection email notifying you that the order is ready for collection.
When a product or garment is not available, the item may be placed on backorder and or cancelled from the order. It is the responsibility of the customer to decide upon waiting for the complete package to arrive or to collect the remaining items. If School Uniform Direct think that it is a delivery timescale is not suitable they will go on to cancel the items and refund any monies paid. Though we will attempt to contact the customer, we cannot guarantee that this will happen and you will only be notified of the items that have been dispatched to the store.
Standard Delivery Option:
Stock permitting, all orders placed by mail-order or on the web are usually dispatched to arrive with UK customers within 5-7 working days. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and dispatch it as soon as it arrives.

Priority Delivery Option:

Though we will endeavour on getting the item to you as soon as possible, All orders received before 3pm will, subject to availability, be dispatched on the following day for a 2-3 working day delivery.

All orders received after 3pm will, subject to availability, be dispatched on the following day.
Next Day/48 Hour Delivery Option:
Stock permitting, all orders placed by mail-order or on the web are usually dispatched to arrive with UK customers within 1-2 working days. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and dispatch it as soon as it arrives. The times of Next Day or 48 Hours does not include the time for delivery (next day), but the point of dispatch from our warehouse.
Though we will endeavour on getting the item to you as soon as possible, All orders received before 1pm will, subject to availability, be dispatched on the same day for a 1 working day delivery. Those orders received after 1pm will be dispatched on the day after the next day.

PLEASE NOTE: Next Day Delivery is only available to addresses within the UK.
Free Delivery:
When orders qualify for Free Delivery, the order will be delivered on a standard service, with the option to upgrade this at an additional cost. If an order has qualified for free delivery due to a value, and then subsequently a return is placed on the same orders for 1 or more of the items resulting in this threshold being breached (i.e.. the total value of the items kept are below the value of the threshold of Free Delivery at the time of order) then School Uniform Direct reserve the right to charge for a standardised delivery charge (£2.99-£6.99) to be deducted from any refund or replacement/exchange.
Disclaimer & Limitations of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither Direct School Uniform LLP nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of Direct School Uniform LLP or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.
